Given the extensive information presented, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of all the information and materials found on this website. Customers acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by the law.
The use of any information on this website is at the customer's own risk, for which we will not be held responsible. It shall be up to the customer to ensure that any products, services or information available on this website meet their specific requirements.

This website contains material that is either owned or licensed by us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look and feel, and graphics. Reproduction is prohibited except as per the copyright notice, which forms part of these terms and conditions.
Unauthorized use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be considered a criminal offense.

3. Usage
You agree not to post or send through this website any information that is or could reasonably be construed as: defamatory, libelous, obscene, offensive, abusive, likely to incite racial hatred, discriminatory or blasphemous; failing to comply with any obligation of confidentiality or privacy or any trade secret; infringing the proprietary rights of any third party or for which it has not obtained all necessary licenses and/or authorizations; or in breach of any other national or Community legislation.
You also agree not to transmit or send through this website any information that could reasonably constitute or encourage conduct that could be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise infringe the rights of any third party.
ESTUDIOPT reserves the right to remove any information from the website when it is reasonably suspected that such information is prohibited by this paragraph (point 3.) or is otherwise inappropriate.
All information included in this Website is the property of ESTUDIOPT, and its suppliers are protected by National, European and International copyright legislation.
You may only use information from this website for personal use.
If the user intends to use information beyond the above scope, he must obtain prior authorization from the copyright holders or relevant licensors of this information, i.e. ESTUDIOPT, its suppliers or others.
The user shall indemnify ESTUDIOPT and its affiliates against any claim, demand, loss or damage suffered as a result of their failure to comply with the provisions of this paragraph.

4. Product Images on the Website
The images shown are for illustrative purposes only, and there may be slight differences between the image shown and the item provided. There may even be variations in color, appearance, texts, depending on the batch or date of manufacture of a particular item.
5. Pricing
The advertised prices already include VAT at the legal rate in effect.
Product prices may change without notice. ESTUDIOPT is not responsible for the supply of products with obvious pricing errors on the website. If you have any questions, please contact us.
6. Stock
There may be stock errors due to the large quantity and variety of products present here. All products are subject to a stockout.
If an item is "In Stock", it means that we have at least 1 unit; if you want more than 1 unit, you should contact us via e-mail, WhatsApp or phone, before placing the order, to confirm that the quantity you need is available.

8. FIRMWARE Update
In purchases of products requiring firmware updates, ESTUDIOPT is not held accountable for the updates made by the customer. If you want to update the firmware of your product, you should contact the official technician of the brand. Firmware updates through ESTUDIOPT are subject to an indefinite budget and time. We strongly advise our customers not to perform any firmware update without full knowledge of the risks.
9. Invoicing
Purchases:
Invoices will be sent along with the order.
For orders with two or more items, with different availability, we inform you that the invoice will only be sent when all products are available.
Resending Invoices:
Requests for the resending of invoices from previous tax years will be charged an administrative fee of €2.50 (value including VAT) per document. Due to differences in computer systems, we will need to dedicate some time to meet these types of requests.
In the case of it being from an order for the current fiscal year, no fee will be charged.
10. Shipping and Freight Transport
Delivery Information:
The delivery information for any order (address, door number, postal-code, contact...), is the sole responsibility of the customer. ESTUDIOPT is not responsible for any inconvenience or error caused by the provision of incorrect information.
If you wish to change or update any of this data, you must inform us in advance by email info@estudiopt.pt with the respective changes.
Customer Shipping Costs:
The customer will always be informed prior to the completion of the order of the transport and delivery costs.

Products with Higher Weight, Height and Special Dimensions:
Some of the taller, heavier and/or special dimensions products — such as dry cabinets, printers or similar equipments — have specific shipping costs.
In these cases, the shipping cost is not automatically calculated when making a purchase. As soon as your order is received and processed, we will reach out via email to specify the exact shipping cost.
If you are interested in acquiring any of these products, we advise you to contact us before finalising and placing your order, so we could inform you of the total shipping cost beforehand.
Delivery Times:
ESTUDIOPT will send the requested orders within the stipulated deadlines according to the supplier's stocks, and cannot be held responsible for delays due to external factors or force majeure.
ESTUDIOPT is also not responsible for delays caused by the carrier.
Orders with two or more products with different availability, the order will only be shipped when all products are available, unless there is a contrary written request from the customer via e-mail (info@estudiopt.pt). To any shipment made, the value of the transport cost is added.
Receiving an Order:
The customer has the entire responsibility and right to check the material during the delivery act and always in the presence of the courier. In the event of any anomaly, the customer must describe the respective anomaly in the courier's delivery report. In the event that there is no registration on the slip, ESTUDIOPT does not accept claims for damaged products.
For orders that are directly delivered in the physical store, the customer has a period of 48 hours to report any anomaly, after this period, any incident will not be considered.
Freight Transport by Subcontractors and Limitation of Liability:
The transportation or delivery of goods will be carried out by carriers or other subcontracted service providers with whom ESTUDIOPT has a contract. Although we require our subcontractors to comply with the agreed quality standards and contractual obligations, ESTUDIOPT does not exercise operational control over such providers.
Consequently, ESTUDIOPT cannot be held responsible for any delays, losses, damages, or other occurrences that may arise during the transportation or delivery of goods. Responsibility for such events rests solely with the carrier or subcontractor to whom the goods were delivered to for shipment.
ESTUDIOPT pledges, however, to provide reasonable assistance to facilitate communication between the client and the carrier, whenever requested.
11. Reservations
To reserve a product or order, you will have to pay a deposit of at least 10% of the total value of the order, this amount is non-refundable, if you give up the order for an item in our catalog, the paid amount can be used as store credit; if you give up the order for an item that has been purposely ordered for you, the amount is non-refundable and will not be converted into store credit.
After payment, the product or order will be reserved.
Reservations are valid in the following situations:
- Products in stock, but the customer is not immediately available to pick up or receive the order.
- Out-of-stock products where the customer wants to ensure that they are on the waiting list for delivery of the next stock arrival.
For products in stock and ready to be delivered, the customer will be notified that it is available for pick up or that the order is ready to ship.
For orders with a paid deposit, the customer will be notified that the order is available for delivery and will have two working days to complete the payment so as not to lose their unit to another customer on the waiting list. This also applies to products with high demand, such as new releases.
Orders without a paid deposit are reserved for one business day only and will be CANCELLED on the next business day if they are not paid in full or picked up at the store.
After-Sales Service, Warranties and Returns
12. Warranties
To activate a warranty, please check if the product has been sold by ESTUDIOPT.
NOTICE: DO NOT SEND ANY PRODUCT WITHOUT THE AUTHORIZATION OF ESTUDIOPT.
ANY PRODUCT SENT FOR WARRANTY WITHOUT PRIOR AUTHORIZATION RISKS DELAY OR REFUSAL OF ACCEPTANCE ON DELIVERY.
Please note that the warranty does not cover:
- Product maintenance;
- Accidents, falls, fire, flood, misuse or abuse;
- Non-compliant use of the product;
- Unauthorized changes to the product, whether Firmware or Hardware update;
- Signs of attempted repair or removal of any part with the serial number;
- Lack of knowledge of the basic rules of use, maintenance and conservation of the product;
- Damage caused while in transit to our facilities.
If it is detected by the official technicians of the brands that the points listed above have not been respected, we reserve the right to charge the costs of transport, labor and spare parts used in the repair process. In this case, the customer will be duly informed.
The legal warranty currently in effect lasts for three(*) years for end-consumers and public entities, and from six to twelve months in the case of companies and/or self-employed workers. (*)In the third year of the warranty, the warranty applies only to defects that are proven to be a manufacturing defect.
For consumable items, such as batteries, memory cards and light bulbs, for example, the warranty is generally 6 months.
In the case of a repair, ESTUDIOPT will communicate to the customer that the repaired equipment is ready for pickup. After this information has been transmitted, the customer has 30 days to pick up the equipment at ESTUDIOPT's facilities. If this deadline is not met, ESTUDIOPT may charge the amount of €5.00 per day for storage / space occupation.
If the equipment has not been repaired, the customer will be duly informed by email and must collect it within 90 days, if the deadline is not met, the equipment will be considered waste and sent for recycling.
To activate the warranty of your product(s) you must contact us via assistencia@estudiopt.pt.
13. Returns
The customer has a maximum period of 14 days after the date of receipt to return the order.
It must comply with the following return conditions:
Items must not show signs of use and must be accompanied by the original packaging, manuals and accessories in the same condition in which they were delivered.
We do not accept returns in the following cases:
- We do not accept the return of cameras and lenses. When you buy a camera or lens from us, you can be sure that you are buying equipment that has never been returned by another customer before.
- We do not accept the return of drones or stabilizers.
- We do not accept the return of photo or video cameras that have been opened or turned on.
- We do not accept returns of PREMIUM products sealed by the manufacturer.
- We do not accept returns of equipment that has been connected or used.
- We do not accept returns of equipment that has been registered on the product(s) website(s) / brand.
- Products marked as "Upon Order" or products purposely ordered for a particular purchase/customer.
- Electronic products that have a record of their use, namely, number of shots, recording time or flight time.
- Software.
- Memory cards or consumables (such as batteries, memory cards, flash drives, analog films) with open packaging.
- Products with damaged packaging or lack of it.
- Opened or used paper and fabric backgrounds.
- Event tickets are non-refundable, however, they may be transferable, depending on the type of event and always upon prior notice with the respective change of ownership.
We reserve the right of not accepting returns of items purchased in the physical store.
In the event that the delivered equipment fails before the first use, the customer must contact Customer Support within a maximum period of 24 hours after receiving the equipment, for it to be exchanged, without any additional charge made to the customer.
In the case of a malfunction, exchange or return, the customer must always fill-in the respective form found on the "Personal Menu" after logging in on the ESTUDIOPT website. After filling out the form, the customer must send an email to info@estudiopt.pt, informing them of the respective "Return Request" number.
Return Costs:
The shipping costs of the return will be deducted from the amount to be refunded, and are the responsibility of the customer, except in cases where the item is defective and/or an item different from the one ordered has been sent in error.
For Backgrounds, the cost of pickup is €10.00.
After approval, all products or items elegible for return or exchange must be sent to our physical store: Rua Santa Rita nº 45, 3810-167 Aveiro.
Exchanges and Returns for Purchases made in the Store:
If you purchased the item at our store, the legislation does not provide for the right of purchase regret.
That is, if you purchased an item without defects, but regretted the purchase, there is no room for exchange or return. Although there is no legal obligation, many commercial establishments allow you to exchange or return (with a refund of the amount paid), subject to certain rules.
In these cases, it is up to the merchant to determine the deadline for the exchange and how the refund is processed (voucher, store credit, or cash, for example).
It is necessary to pay attention to the conditions and the deadline stipulated for the exchange or return.
Stores are now obliged to exchange the product or return the money paid, if the purchased good is defective.
14. Order(s) Cancellation
The customer may cancel an order placed in our store. To do this, just send an email to info@estudiopt.pt with the order number and the reason for cancellation.
If the order has already been paid for, please refer to the information on refunds in the following section (paragraph 15. Refunds) of these Terms and Conditions.
NOTE: We do not accept the cancellation of orders of items ordered on purpose for the customer in question and/or marked "Upon Order" in which a payment deposit was requested.
In the case of Renting and Personal Financing (Financing credit via CETELEM), orders will be cancelled if the duly completed form is not received within 2 working days.
15. Refunds
The amount of the purchase can be used for other purchases or refunded.
To make the refund request official, you must send an email to info@estudiopt.pt with your IBAN (International Bank Account Number), through the email in which your account (and respective order) is registered under.
The refund of the amount paid for any purchase will be made within 3 to 14 days after receipt of the material at our facilities and this is applicable for national and intra-community refunds.
For refunds of orders cancelled outside the European Union (non-SEPA), bank fees and administrative costs will be retained. ESTUDIOPT is not responsible for any costs and charges that are associated with the refund. The amount withdrawn will be communicated by email to the customer before making the refund.
In all cases, the following costs are non-refundable:
- Value of the original shipment of the order.
- Administrative costs.
16. VAT Refunds for Purchases inside and outside of the European Union (EU)
For VAT refunds inside and outside the European Union (non-SEPA), bank fees and, where applicable, administrative costs of €40.00 will be withheld.
The refund will only be made after submission of the necessary documents to justify the refund.
ESTUDIOPT is not responsible for any costs and charges that are associated with the refund. The amount withdrawn will be communicated by email to the customer before making the refund.

If possible, you should pack the product in the original box, and make sure it is well packed for transport. ESTUDIOPT is not responsible for damages that occur during shipment to us.
