The Manfrotto 504X fluid video head represents a breakthrough in video recording technology for professionals and independent content creators. It's a significant step in the evolution of video heads, surpassing the successful 504HD it replaces.
Capturing professional footage with smooth motion is essential for any independent filmmaker or content creator, and the 504X fluid video head is the perfect companion for these creatives at all times. Manfrotto has combined features of the successful and proven 504HD fluid video head with all-new features, such as reduced weight and a flat base, to meet market demands. The result is a video head that is extremely versatile in terms of support (tripods, sliders, arms, etc.), environmental conditions, and compatible cameras.
The 504X head integrates a continuous fluid drag (FDS) system for panning and tilting, setting a new standard for performance in the Manfrotto range and providing the smoothest, vibration-free movements to date. It is capable of operating in extreme conditions, from -30°C to +60°C.
Thanks to its 4-stage counterweight system (from 0 to 6.5 kg with a 55 mm center of gravity), the camera is always balanced quickly and easily. This allows the head to be used with a wide range of camcorders and digital cameras, as well as a variety of accessories. Independent brakes on the tilt and pan axes further enhance the ability to keep equipment stable, safe and in the desired position.
The 504X supports a maximum load of 12 kg and its design incorporates a 75 mm flat base that ensures maximum versatility, allowing it to be used with sliders, arms or other accessories. Weighing just 1.93kg, the 504X is also 700g lighter than the previous version, making it easy to handle. In addition, it is constructed of aluminum for maximum strength and rigidity with minimal weight.
Another feature that enhances ease of use is the new "Side Lock" sliding plate for faster setup. Easy Link connectors feature Manfrotto's renowned anti-rotation technology and Arri pin system. On the left side, there is a cover that protects the 3/8" Easy Link connector or the widebar accessory, to prevent cuts during use.
The MVTTTWINGC is a professional two-section, rigid and stable tripod with double legs, ideal for all kinds of tasks. If you want to create professional-quality videos or movies, this is the must-have tripod. It has a ground level stabilizer and is compatible with 100mm semispheres (a 100mm to 75mm adapter is included). The leg locks are secure and reliable, and spiked feet are provided for outdoor use, such as on grass. For maximum versatility, the tripod can be used with a variety of carts (114MV and 181B).
