The Benro S4Pro is a compact fluid video head, ideal for DSLR and mirrorless camera setups weighing up to 4.10 kg. Featuring a 60 mm flat base with a 3/8"-16 threaded hole, it can be used with 60 mm flat base tripods and tripods with flat base adapters. At the same time, thanks to the flat base, it can be mounted on slides, booms, monopods and other support equipment, and can be moved efficiently between these equipment.
The S4Pro is originally configured for 1 stage counterweight. By pressing a button on the side of the head, an additional step is added to the total of 2 steps. Next to this button, there is a release button that takes you back to step 1. There is no zero adjustment. The head features a fixed pan and tilt drag and independent pan and tilt locks. The tilt range is +90/-75° and the pan range is 360°.
Some parts of the head are made of magnesium and others of aluminum. Virtually the entire head, including the buttons, is made of sturdy, lightweight metal. A panoramic bar is included and can be connected to a rosette adapter on the left or right side of the head, for right- or left-handed users. A camera plate is included and can be adjusted forward/backward to allow you to find the ideal balance for your camera. A safety lock on the hob ensures that once assembled, it does not slide if moving too far in any direction. Two camera screws are provided - 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 - which can be stored under the camera plate on the head itself, in dedicated slots. To attach the attachments, there is a 1/4"-20 threaded hole on each side of the head, to which you can attach the articulated arms.
