Manfrotto GimBoom was designed with one goal in mind: to allow gimbal users to expand the range of their recordings without adding heavy or complicated equipment. Measuring just 51 cm in length when closed and constructed of lightweight carbon fiber, it supports up to 6.5 kg at its maximum extension.
Thanks to its fully extended 1.15 m length, GimBoom users can expand their creative horizons to a height of up to 3.5 m while maintaining stability and taking their recordings to a new level. In addition, thanks to its top connector with standard 3/8" and 1/4" thread, the GimBoom allows perfect assembly with most gimbals available on the market.
Take your recordings to the next level. GimBoom is designed to allow users to maneuver their gimbals in ways that would require drones or complex dolly systems to achieve the same effect. Thanks to the incorporation of advanced Fast Twisting Lock technology, the GimBoom can be extended with a simple twisting motion, locking or adjusting it in various positions so that users can easily capture a wider range of images, including aerial or ground-level views, previously impossible with gimbals.
GimBoom allows creators, thanks to its extra reach, to choose from a wide variety of angles when composing their scenes. And weighing just 800g, with a closed length of 51cm, the GimBoom is also exceptionally compact and lightweight, making it easy to carry around on trips. Made with carbon fiber tubing and aluminum components for optimal performance, this lightweight accessory offers impressive stability, even when working with high-load gimbals and supporting large-sized professional camera equipment.
In case the operator needs a break, the GimBoom has a rubber stop at one end, allowing for easy and comfortable positioning on the floor without any risk of damage. It also includes three threaded connectors arranged at 120°, making it possible to attach specialized GimBoom accessories so users can create a truly professional rig.
