The SmallRig MagicFIZ dual wireless Follow Focus motor kit is designed to provide a single photographer or photography team with accurate follow focus solutions in photography and manual monitoring. The entire system has a remote control range of up to 100m in an open area and also supports lower latency control with Wireless Handgrip and USB-C cables for added stability. Its BLE module assists in wireless REC start/stop which can also be accomplished by wireless motor control cables.
Wireless Handweel Controller
The controller features a 1400mAh battery and lasts up to 40 hours when working with the wireless handgrip. It, along with an electronic control module, comes with a power failure memory function that prevents repeated lens calibrations and AB point settings, thus improving shooting efficiency. The ultra-low power 0.96" OLED screen with RGB lighting effect and vibration warning provides a seamless experience Simple but efficient interaction. The wireless handle not only fits well with the controller for dual control of the wireless receiver Motor, but works with electronic control module for wireless control and with single-channel cable of the motor.
Wireless Receiver Motor
The wireless receiver motor supports fast charging and provides 9V/18W and 0.5Nm torque output. It can be powered by battery board with NP-F batteries or by USB-C to D-Tap cable and USB-C to DC cable (ID: 3268) with V-Mount batteries.
Note:
- The wireless receiver motor and wireless steering wheel controller can be operated only under the same frequency range and number
- A calibration is required when the focus motor reverses rapidly or the wireless steering wheel controller screen displays abnormal location information
- Check for anomalies when there is a vibration warning from the electronic controller module
