SMALLRIG 5810 Cage for Canon EOS C80
The Cage SmallRig for Canon EOS C80 5810 is expertly designed to deliver versatile shooting solutions for filmmakers. The kit includes a top plate, two side plates, a base plate, a bottom mounting plate, a cable tie and a NATO rail.
With a modular design, the cage incorporates a variety of mounting interfaces: 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 tapped holes, 1/4"-20 locating holes, 3/8"-16 ARRI locating holes, M3 tapped holes, cold shoe mounts, NATO H21 rails, QD fittings, and more. This broad compatibility allows for seamless integration with side handles (ID 3260, 4015, 4016), articulated arms (ID 5141, 4194, 3873, 3959), monitor mounts (ID 4487, 2906B, 2903B, 2905B), base plates with dual rod clamps (ID 3357), and follow focus clamps (ID 3598).
The modular base plate offers two configurations: attaching the bottom mounting plate increases the distance between tapped holes, making it compatible with tripods (ID 4463), ARRI BP8 bridge plates, LWS base plates with double rod clamps (ID 3357), and shoulder rigs (ID 4181), suitable for both tripod and shoulder configurations. Removing the mounting plate allows for direct attachment to DJI RS 2, RS 3 Pro, and RS 4 Pro gimbals.
The ergonomic right side plate improves grip and has multiple threaded holes for attaching accessories such as tripods (ID 4463) or mini L-mount plates (ID MD4360). The modular NATO rail, designed with matching grooves to fit the original handle, can be mounted on the top and sides of the cage for perfect horizontal and vertical shooting.
This cage kit is compatible with Canon microphone stands, focal plane marking hooks and external hot shoe cables (OC-E4A). In addition, the kit includes an HDMI cable tie, ensuring stable data transmission, and a magnetic Allen key for easy assembly and disassembly.
