SMALLRIG 4183B Cage Sony FX3/FX30
The Sony FX3/FX30 4183B Cage is designed to protect the camera and provide mounting points for accessories. The modular cage consists of a NATO rail and a U-shaped cage. The NATO rail is attached to the top via two 1/4"-20 screws and can be removed to allow installation of the original XLR top handle; The U-shaped cage is secured by 1/4"-20 bolts on both sides and at the bottom to prevent twisting, with a scratch protection. On the battery cover, there is a hinge that adapts to the curvature of the camera for a better grip with the little finger. A dedicated HDMI cable clip secures the interfaces to ensure stable signal transmission.
An Arca-Swiss quick-release plate on the bottom allows direct attachment of the DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro gimbal or a quick-release plate (height increase pad) to the DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 gimbal and the Arca-Swiss 3154 quick release plate. Both sides and the bottom have holes for hand or wrist strap. A magnetic wrench is also included for easy assembly and disassembly.
- Remove the upper NATO rail before installing the original XLR handle
- The top holes of 1/4"-20 have a center pitch of 27mm and are therefore incompatible with fittings with a center pitch of 18mm
