The Sony a7 V/7R V/7 IV 6026 Cage Advanced Kit is expertly designed to enhance the handheld shooting experience, offering robust protection and versatile mounting options. This kit includes a cage, HDMI cable tie, side grip and top grip. The side grip features a silicone coating for comfortable and stable handling, while the top grip makes it easy to move the camera smoothly for low-angle shots effortlessly.
Secure Attachment and Full Access
The cage uses a three-point locking system for secure, deflection-free mounting. The integrated pads offer complete protection and prevent scratches, while the precise cutouts provide unobstructed access to the camera's ports, buttons, display and battery compartment.
Mounting and Expansion Points
Multiple mounting points are built-in, including 1/4"-20 threaded holes, 3/8"-16 ARRI locating holes, and a NATO "HawkLock" rail for quick attachment of accessories like side grips and top grips. An integrated cold shoe allows for the connection of devices such as the DJI Mic 2 and lights, while a QD mount on the base accommodates shoulder straps for added portability. The base also features a magnetic Allen key for easy mounting and dismounting.
Tripod and Gimbal Compatibility
The integrated Arca-Swiss quick-release plate on the bottom allows for seamless transitions between manual, tripod, and gimbal setups (compatible with Ark-type tripods and DJI RS2/RSC2/RS3 Mini/RS 3/RS 3 Pro/RS4 Mini/RS 4 Pro/RS 5 stabilizers).
Ergonomics and Signal Stability
In addition, a hinged lid in the battery compartment provides support for the little finger, while the included clip for the HDMI cable secures the cable for stable data transmission.
- After attaching the 1/4"-20 base screw, remove the anti-twist locating pins from the storage hole in the battery compartment and secure them in the designated position.
