Offering all the features expected from the next-generation L-308 series, the L-308X has an LCD backlight, with aperture priority (Photo Mode) and ISO 850 setting (for native ISO cine cameras).

Photo Mode:
The FLASHMATE L-308X offers full exposure control for the photographer on site or in the studio.
Aperture Priority Mode offers the uncontrolled depth-of-field control provided in most DSLRs.
In addition, a range of ambient and flash functions, including Cord and Cordless flash metering, as well as ambient EV metering, are fully displayed.
Mode HD_CINE:
The FLASHMATE L-308X helps determine the correct exposure reading and control the lighting situation with shutter speed and frame rate settings, providing aperture readings accurate to a tenth stop.
Cine Mode:
Designed with professionalism in mind, the FLASHMATE L-308X can meet the challenges of digital cinematography. Selecting the right combination of frame rates and shutter angles to get the exposure control you need with tenth-stop accuracy.
Truly universal, the FLASHMATE L-308X offers both Lux (lx) and FC reading, allowing for quick lighting setup in a compact,
Affordable and easy-to-use design.
Three ways of measurement:
Slide the integrated lumisphere to the right and insert the lumidisc (optional) into the supply slot on the light receiver. The L-308X is now ready to measure flat subjects or illumination contrast accurately.

Illuminated display
- The backlight LCD is automatically activated in EV5.
Calibration compensation
- Fit the L-308X to your film or digital. Camera display or combining the L-308X with other handheld meters. (+/- 1.0EV at 0.1 step)
Custom configuration
- Three custom settings are available to select display mode, metering increment and illuminance unit (lx or fc) to adjust your camera and metering requirements.
