MANFROTTO Spring Clamp with Flash Shoe
The Manfrotto 175F-2 Spring-Loaded Flash Hot Shoe Clamp is a versatile and lightweight accessory that allows users to attach essential accessories off-camera in ways that are not possible with traditional solutions such as a lighting tripod. It has several attachment points for mounting essential lightweight accessories, such as a Speedlite flash, a small LED panel or a microphone.
Weighing only 350g , the clamp incorporates a high strength spring mechanism that ensures an extremely firm hold on a wide variety of surfaces and objects, supporting a load of up to 2kg . Its claws extend up to a maximum diameter of 40mm , allowing for easy attachment to a pole, shelf, chair back, or even a tree branch, to name just a few of its many possibilities. The inside of the grips is lined with durable rubber pads that increase the clamping force and allow the clamp to be attached to very uneven surfaces.
A Manfrotto multi-position ball head with pan and tilt capabilities is mounted on the clamp. After the user attaches the clamp to the chosen surface, the locking knob on the ball head allows the accessory to be positioned at a precise angle and securely locked with a simple twist. On top of the ball head is Manfrotto's renowned quick-release plate mechanism. This mounting plate allows the chosen accessory to be fastened quickly and securely. The plate opens by unscrewing the ring, the accessory slides inwards, and then the ring is tightened to fix the accessory on the ball head.
The clamp also integrates a 16 mm (5/8") adapter and a 16 mm (5/8") pin with a 3/8" female thread, which can be used to mount an additional accessory or to attach it to a tripod or lighting arm.
