MANFROTTO Jaw Clamp with Spigot 6"
Meticulously manufactured and tested to enhance safety on set, clamping vices allow professional content creators to focus on their projects, knowing their gear is in good hands. The clamping vice range comprises four different models, designed to help overcome a wide range of challenges on set.
Among them, two models of reinforced clamping vices with a fixed jaw at the end of the threaded rod, ideal for confined spaces. Available with 15 cm (6") or 5 cm (2") openings, both have a 16 mm (5/8") pin.
Proven by state-of-the-art laboratory tests and real-world trials, these grippers boast impressive load capacities: 50 kg for both variants with jaws at the end of the stem.
Among the key differentiators that distinguish Manfrotto's clamping grips from others on the market is the use of Manfrotto's unique and super-durable molded polyurethane, called "M-Grip". This material uses an ultra-strong mechanical fixation to attach it to the jaws of the gripper, instead of adhesive, making the fixation much stronger and longer lasting than a gripper with adhesive. This also eliminates the need for replacement parts, saving the user time and money over the life of the gripper.
Another differential, unprecedented in the sector, is the anti-lock design of the claw mechanism. This means that it is less likely to bind or lock when opening from the fully closed position after storage, or when being removed from the mount. even after prolonged use under load, making it extremely easy to use.
Other features of Manfrotto's clamping vices include the use of cast aluminum for strength and durability, chrome steel threaded rods, and ergonomic cast aluminum swivel locking handles.
