ILFORD Bromofen Powder Developer
Ilford Bromophene Developer is a phenidone/hydroquinone developer supplied in powder form. It is suitable for the dish or tray development of all black and white resin (RC) and fibre-based (FB) photo papers. It is economical, clean working and has good conservation properties. It is particularly recommended for developing Multigrade Warmtone RC and FB papers on a plate and board to achieve the warmest image tone. Prepare the working solution from your stock solution. Never contaminate developer solutions with stop bath or fixative solutions. Bromophene comes in two parts: A and B, which must be mixed with water before use. You should mix the solutions in total, from both packs, to create the stock solution. Do not mix just one part to make smaller quantities, but you can mix larger quantities using the appropriate amounts of additional packaging. Please note that Ilford recommends that gloves, eye protection, apron or overalls be worn when handling and mixing all chemicals.
