The ET-83F (WIII) lens hood is designed to eliminate ghosting and flare caused by stray light entering the lens, while protecting the front of the lens from accidental damage. It features a satin texture moulded into the inner circumference and a heat-blocking coating to prevent haze from forming in front of the lens, reflecting infrared light and preventing heat retention when shooting on hot days. This robust lens hood is equipped with a two-latch bayonet to ensure a firm fit, as well as a practical filter adjustment window.
