The charger has a protection mechanism that will turn off the charger after about 16 hours from the time the charger is connected to the power source. The charger plugs directly into the outlet without using a cable.
The charger has two LEDs. The LEDs light up when charging and turn off when the protection mechanism turns off the charger.
All chargers designed to charge nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) batteries can be used with this charger from Eneloop.
