The SmallRig Multifunction Card Reader and Storage Case (CFexpress Type A) 5361 offers a professional-grade solution for creators. This drive offers secure, high-capacity card storage as well as high-speed data transfer capabilities, supporting simultaneous use of CFexpress Type A, SD and Micro SD (TF) formats for maximum efficiency. Equipped with an integrated USB 3.2 Gen 2 chip, it offers speeds up to 10 Gbps (1250 MB/s), while the aluminum heatsink and auxiliary USB-C power port ensure stable performance. The dedicated AirTag slot allows for more secure memory card management.
Storage Case
The case stores up to 10 cards: 4 SD, 2 Micro SD (TF) and 4 CFexpress Type A. Each compartment has a silicone pad for safe storage and a dial key to mark the card's status (empty/full). Plus, it comes with a carabiner for added portability and a flat wrench for emergency disassembly.
Notes
- Speed is limited if the host's USB-C port is lower than USB 3.2 Gen2
- Ensure correct card orientation before insertion
- Card Priority: When reading SD + Micro SD simultaneously, the bandwidth prioritizes the highest-speed card
- Avoid inserting/removing other cards during data transfer to avoid data loss
- Do not turn on/off the USB-C auxiliary power during transfer, as variations of the PD protocol may interrupt transmission
- Phone/tablet use: Keep the file manager active in the background to avoid interruptions
