TAMRON 11-20mm f/2.8 Di III-A RXD for Sony E-Mount
TAMRON's 11-20mm F2.8 is an ultra-wide-angle zoom lens with a constant aperture of F/2.8 throughout the zoom range.

COMPACT AND LIGHTWEIGHT FOR EVERYDAY USE
The 11-20 F2.8mm is only 86.2mm (3.4 inches) long and weighs only 335g.
For an F/2.8 wide-angle zoom lens over the entire focal length, this results in an extremely compact and lightweight size.
When used with an APS-C mirrorless camera body, it allows photographers to enjoy a photographic experience without being hindered by the size or weight of the lens.
It provides the user with a comfortable system for photography and video, with the help of a small tripod or mounted on a stabilizer.
EXCEPTIONAL OPTICAL PERFORMANCE
The 11-20mm F/2.8 includes 12 elements in 10 groups. Two precision-placed GM (Glass Molded Aspherical) lens elements ensure high resolution throughout the image, from edge to edge.
In addition, the 11-20mm F/2.8 incorporates one XLD (eXtra Low Dispersion) and two LD (Low Dispersion) lens elements to produce sharp images with optimally corrected optical aberrations.
It also features BBAR-G2 (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection Generation 2) coating that suppresses ghosting and flare to a minimum, revealing minute details of objects, even when against the light.
The combination of functions is harmonized to deliver sharp images with natural colors and rich saturation.
MINIMUM FOCUSING DISTANCE OF 0.5M AT A FOCAL LENGTH OF 11MM
It has a MOD (Minimum Focus Distance) of 0.15m at the 11mm focal length setting and 0.24m at the maximum 20mm end.
This yields more versatile close-up shooting performance than existing ultra-wide-angle zoom lenses.
At 11mm, the widest focal length, it offers a maximum multiplication factor of 1:4.
This allows macro photography to offer a unique ultra-wide-angle perspective, while providing an expressive bokeh effect thanks to its excellent maximum aperture.
67MM UNIFIED FILTER SIZE
The 11-20mm F2.8 is so light that its total weight along with that of the standard RXD 17-70mm F/2.8 Di III-A VC (Model B070) zoom lens is only 860g.
The combination of these two lenses covers a focal length range of 11mm to 70mm (equivalent to a distance of 16.5mm to 105mm on full-frame cameras) with an aperture of F/2.8 at each focal length, allowing the size and weight of the entire mirrorless system to be greatly reduced without sacrificing equipment features.
As with almost all TAMRON lens models for Sony E-mount cameras, the 11-20mm F2.8 has a unified filter size of 67mm, allowing for reciprocal switching of filters such as PL and ND, and lens caps.
The RXD (Rapid eXtra-silent stepping Drive) motor unit is exceptionally quiet and perfect for video use.
Its moisture resistance and fluorine coating provide the lens with additional protection against harsh weather conditions.
Compatible with many camera-specific features and functions, including Fast Hybrid AF and Eye AF
