Reach up to 800 mm
In bird and wildlife photography, range is essential. Starting at 400mm to capture subjects from a distance in their natural habitats, and extending to 800mm for detailed portraits (35mm equivalent), all while avoiding disturbing the animals.
Extend up to 1600 mm
This lens is compatible with teleconverters, allowing super telephoto shots up to 1600mm (35mm equivalent) with the M.Zuiko Digital 2x Teleconverter MC-20. Perfect for capturing wildlife from a distance, without disturbing animals, it is also compatible with the M.Zuiko Digital 1.4x Teleconverter MC-14.
Tele + Macro = Telemacro
With a minimum focusing distance of 1.3 metres, this lens enables telemacro shots at 0.57x magnification (35mm equivalent). Ideal for photographing insects such as butterflies, it also supports Focus Stacking on OM SYSTEM compatible cameras, providing sharp images with an improved depth of field.
