The latest optical design of the 105mm F2.8 DG DN MACRO | Artwork ensures exceptional sharpness at all shooting distances, from extreme close-ups, which is crucial in macro photography, to infinity. In addition, its aberration correction places a particular focus on longitudinal chromatic aberration that cannot be handled by in-camera aberration correction. Superior optical design produces sharp images with delicate, no-frills rendering color bleeding.
Bokeh was one of the focuses on the 105mm F2.8 DG DN MACRO | Art Design, which appears mainly in telephoto shoots. The ample volume of peripheral light helps to create beautiful bokeh circles, while the natural bokeh effect in the background, as well as in the foreground, gives more flexibility to photographic expressions.

A full range of features and excellent build quality
On its body, the 105mm F2.8 DG DN MACRO | Art features a1Focus Mode Switch, 2Focus limiter setting which is useful during macro photography, and the 3AFL button*1 to which users can assign selection functions. The4aperture ring, designed to help users work intuitively, has a 5aperture ring click switch to turn on or off the clicking sound which is not required by some users when shooting macro. It also comes with a6aperture ring lock switch*2 for a ring lock system. Its enhanced functions allow users to customize their photography operations according to their photography styles.
