The Vespid 2 features a fully updated optical design, with a constant T1.9 aperture throughout the series.
Vespid 2 incorporates new generation aspherical elements, developed in-house, with precision polishing to the highest standards, combined with multi-layer nano-coatings and special calibrated coating formulas to minimize reflections and suppress stray light.
The result is exceptional resolution with clean, pure images rich in detail and texture, delivering crystal-clear images with controlled contrast to meet diverse creative needs, from commercial to artistic applications.
The optimized structure and precision coatings ensure consistent color performance at all focal lengths, allowing for seamless integration with all production and post-production workflows for projects ranging from advertising, film and television productions to individual creative projects.

The new Vespid 2 ups the resolution to meet the most demanding demands of in-focus and out-of-focus rendering. Its redesigned optics eliminate chromatic aberration, delivering pure, natural skin tones, while a ten-blade iris with linear aperture scale produces refined, expressive bokeh in every frame. Enhanced distortion control across the entire range—from 18mm ultra-wide-angle to 105mm telephoto—ensures stable and consistent images in multi-camera setups or complex shooting environments, minimizing post-correction and delivering cohesive accuracy.

COMPACT SIZE, STATE-OF-THE-ART VISUALS
The Vespid 2 is the most compact Vista Vision T1.9 prime lens set on the market, initially available in 18mm, 24mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, and 105mm. Covering the entire spectrum, from wide-angle to mid-telephoto lens, it supports sensors up to 46.5mm, including RED V-Raptor VV, ARRI Alexa LF, Sony Venice, and other large-format systems.
In many scenarios, it also extends coverage to medium format systems such as the Blackmagic URSA Cine 17K 65 and Fujifilm GFX Eterna, delivering high resolution performance for full-frame cinema while accommodating select medium format workflows.

FLOATING ELEMENTS FOR A CLEARER IMAGE
Based on the compact optical design of the Vespids, the Vespid 2 line integrates floating elements to precisely correct aberration from infinity to minimum focus, ensuring exceptional performance in close focus. With a maximum magnification of 1:5.5–1:8, close-up performance is significantly improved, meeting the growing demands of commercials, narrative films, and documentaries.

MINIMAL FOCUS BREATH FOR PERFECT SHOTS
Minimal lens breathing ensures a smooth transition and stable framing that doesn't need systemic correction, providing an immersive cinematic experience whether you're shooting handheld, monitoring on set, viewing in post-production, or working in virtual production.

COOKE /I REAL-TIME COMMUNICATION 
The Vespid 2 integrates the Cooke/i protocol into its compact body and is fully compatible with ARRI, RED, Blackmagic, Sony and Canon cinema cameras. Lens data such as focal length, T-stop, and focal length are automatically recorded and displayed in real-time, reducing manual input errors.
Equipped with a 5-pin Lemo interface, it will support wireless follow-focus systems and a wide range of professional cinema accessories in the future, enabling quick integration into films, TV series, commercials and short film productions. Optimizing time and costs, Vespid 2 offers a highly efficient and fluid collaborative workflow, similar to a well-coordinated cinematic "hive".

WHERE COMMITMENTS END, EXCELLENCE BEGINS
At just about 800 g, each Vespid 2 lens combines a front diameter of 80 mm with a barrel length of 80 mm, making it the most compact PL-mount Vista Vision high-speed prime lens.
Designed for compact setups, it works seamlessly with DJI Ronin 4D, gimbals, handheld platforms, sliders, and drones.
Balanced for quick platform switches, it offers portability and precise handling, empowering filmmakers with fluid creative control.
