Hybrid anamorphic for maximum visual quality
By combining a cylindrical lens with an oval aperture, the Arcana series overcomes the size and image quality limitations of traditional full-frame anamorphic lenses. Our lightweight 700g design offers exceptional resolution and ultra-low dispersion, while rendering retains the iconic bokeh and flare of high-quality 2X anamorphic lenses. It's the perfect balance between portability and superior image quality.
2X Bokeh, the soul of cinema
The entire series features a dynamic oval aperture design, ensuring consistent oval bokeh at all apertures (T-stop). When combined with our 1.5x anamorphic front cylindrical elements, it effortlessly produces the cascading bokeh of 2x anamorphic lenses. 1 delivers a high-quality cinematic look across the range, easily isolating the subject to create the immersive three-dimensional depth typical of larger formats.
Cylindrical front, with neutral opening
With a classic cylindrical front design, these lenses feature the characteristic barrel distortion and a constant compression ratio, effectively eliminating mumps. This consistency reduces post-production work, while allowing the iconic anamorphic horizontal flares to dance with light, reproducing infinite colors from different light sources.
Compact size, maximum brightness
A robust aluminum alloy frame with a new titanium-tone anodized finish. The entire series features a lightweight design, at approximately 700g, which is more portable than any previous DZOFILM optician. With a class-leading minimum focusing distance of 0.48 to 0.78 m, it allows for effortless control when shooting handheld alone, in gimbal-mounted configurations, or when integrated into DJI Ronin 4D.
Versatile compatibility, infinite expansion
Front diameter of 80 mm with thread of 77 mm; Compatible with standard circular filters and matte box mounting. The 21mm lens element design ensures compatibility with VND filter adapters and autofocus adapters. In addition, the PL mount features a multi-point positioning design for vertical shooting, allowing for easy adaptation and seamless integration with a wide range of cinema cameras and mirrorless systems.
