In addition to absorbing UV rays, the JJC S+ L39 Ultra-Slim MC UV Filter offers optimal protection against, for example, scratches, moisture and dust. By absorbing UV rays, the sharpness and contrast of your images are optimized. For example, you no longer have problems with the blue haze that can occur in bright outdoor environments. Thanks to the special L39 coating, UV radiation with a wavelength of less than 390 nm is also eliminated.
Quality product
The JJC UV filter is made of optical glass surrounded by a sturdy aluminum frame. The special multi-coating helps prevent unwanted reflections, lens flares, and shadowed images. The coating also improves light transmission. Many photographers choose to leave a UV filter on the lens at all times, but when shooting at night it is best not to use the filter because of the reflections that can occur.
Additional apps
Using a UV filter is particularly recommended when shooting in an environment with very bright skies, but it offers extra options because it is a very neutral filter. For example, you can paste a black cardboard shape into the filter to influence the bokeh. Bokeh is the term used to describe how blur is reproduced in a photograph.
