Coupled with the worry-free battery life of the Power Housing (ATH2000) and the Extender Kit's ability to connect to external power, the BCC2000 Plus is the best solution for long-term shooting.
*The battery slot of the ATH2000 only supports alkaline batteries. Lithium batteries, Ni-MH batteries, and zinc-carbon batteries will affect the camera's battery life, so DO NOT recommend them.

IPX5 (ATH2000) waterproof power box makes long-term outdoor time-lapse possible.
In addition to providing protection from the elements during all four seasons, the box's 16AA battery slot will power your camera for up to 250 days* using alkaline batteries with a one-hour capture interval.
*Actual battery life will vary depending on the duration of command center operation.
Extensive use of the command center can result in a significant reduction in battery life.
The 250-day data comes from the BCC2000 with no connection to the command center.
