Datavideo introduces the PTC-285 AI 4K50/60p tracking PTZ camera. The PTC-285 can be easily controlled via traditional RS-422 serial port or IP remote control via DVIP (Datavideo's proprietary protocol) or Sony VISCA over IP.
This new series of 4K cameras supports dual streaming output for A/V market application, and can easily stream to Facebook (RTMPS), YouTube and dvCloud.
Access to tracking
This camera allows you direct access to auto-tracking via various external controllers, such as the supplied RMC-1AT remote control or DVIP controllers (RMC-300A, PTC View Assist, etc.)
In addition to camera controllers, it can also easily enable auto-tracking on smart switches, such as KMU-200 or Showcast100, as well as complete solution systems, such as the ZR-1 Hybrid Video Production Solution.
Custom automatic object tracking
If you're filming multiple people, you can designate one of them for auto-tracking. Once linked to the camera, only the designated person will be tracked, avoiding interference such as people in circulation, speech pulpits, or tables and chairs.
PTZ Speed Adaptation
The built-in PID algorithm is able to detect the movement speed of the object to be tracked and automatically adjust the corresponding pan, tilt, and zoom speeds of the camera so that the lens movement is smooth, avoiding common camera lens movement problems,
Quick Selection
All PTC-285 camera series include the RMC-1AT controller. From here, the user can quickly select full-body, half-body, and close-up framing, making it easy to change the shooting scene and framing requirements.

Advanced 2D/3D noise reduction technology is used to further reduce noise and ensure image sharpness.
H.264/H.265 video compression
Supports resolution compression up to 3840x2160 with frame up to 59.94, 60 fps and the second channel 720x480 with 29.97 fps compression. AAC, MP3 and PCM audio compression also supported.
RMC-1 PTZ Controller
All you need to operate your cameras is the remote control. You can set up and control the cameras and save your presets for each of the 4 cameras you can pair.
Remote control and web view
The web UI provides preview, pan-tilt-zoom control, and configuration of settings in IP mode.
Compatible with multiple controllers
Control pan, tilt, and zoom camera movements in real-time with the Datavideo PTZ View Assist APP, RMC-300A, and RMC180. With configurable preset positions supported.

The PTC-285 series cameras are compliant with the ONVIF Profile S standard, ensuring seamless integration and interoperability in network video systems.
PTZ View Assist: Control up to four cameras
The camera control application is customized for the Datavideo PTZ series. You can monitor the live streaming video of the PTC-140 and PTC-280 series. Control up to 4 cameras simultaneously via DVIP, you can intuitively configure and recall presets, and adjust white balance, focus, and IRIS.
It has the ability to decode the live stream via RTSP, SRT and NDI and allows immediate monitoring as well as configuration of the necessary parameters. Datavideo provides iOS and Android versions of View Assist.
Multiple simultaneous video outputs
It supports simultaneous HDMI 2.0 and IP output up to 2160p 50/60 and also 3G-SDI output up to 1080p60/50. Connect your PTC-285 to multiple devices to improve your workflow and flexibility. All outputs are active at the same time.
Multiple network protocol with dual stream function
Supports RTSP and RTMPS protocols, easy to stream directly to two different CDN platforms and also to Datavideo dvCloud.

The PTC-285 camera supports PoE (Power over Ethernet) for easy installation. There's no need to find local electrical outlets or hire an electrician to install extra outlets to place wherever you want to mount your camera. Simply run a single CAT 6 cable to power your PTC-285.
