RODE M5 Microphone
The new calibrated pair of small-format (but big-sounding) condenser microphones.
It is a new compact pair of condenser microphones with a short membrane (1/2") and cardioid polar pickup pattern.
It is also endowed with a very low self-residual noise and an extended frequency response. In addition, it can work with Phantom Power at +24V or +48V.
Ideal for studio or stage use, the M5 pair will do equally well capturing acoustic instruments, vocal choirs, or any other type of use for which a short condenser membrane microphone is required, either individually or as a stereo pair.
The M5 pair is calibrated, which means that the difference in sensitivity between the two microphones will never be more than 1dB.
The finish of the M5 is made with proprietary ceramic coating technology (more resistant to scratches and time).
