The Blimp is a complete solution for wind protection and suspension for outdoor pickup shotgun microphones.
The Blimp is a protective structure with a foam interior with an external hair protector for shooting in windy conditions.
The Blimp can be used in different ways: as a manual support, pointing directly at the action you want to capture; or insert it into a perche/boompole making use of the holes that the base of the support has for this purpose.
The Blimp is compatible with Rode microphones: NTG-1, NTG-2 and NTG-3,NT4 and NTG-8.
However, it can be used with any shotgun microphone that has a maximum length of 325mm.
