RODE Boompole Pro
The Rode Boompole Pro is the new alternative for a high-end segment. A durable and high-quality product.
When closed, the Boompole Pro is 810 mm long, and can reach 3 meters when stretched.
Each of the five sections is constructed of carbon fiber, making them incredibly light while maintaining high levels of strength.
The segments are easily extendable with just one hand.
If you want to extend the length of your Boompole Pro, you can do so by using a MicroBoompole Pro, as two of the threaded segments of this smaller profile can be adapted to the 3/8" male thread found on the tip of the Boompole Pro.
In practice, this means that you can extend your Boompole Pro up to a maximum length of 4.7 metres (although we only advise you to do this if you want to use a lightweight microphone at the tip, and no Blimps or other elaborate suspensions).
