ZHIYUN TECH ELECTRONIC STABILIZER CRANE 4

The Zhiyun CRANE 4takes the familiar form factor and lightweight experience of previous Zhiyun gimbals while expanding the built-in capabilities for native portrait photography, Bluetooth shutter control, and an extended handle to accommodate cameras with full-frame lenses. This version of the combo kit offers you a sling-type handle and a wrist rest for a better low-angle shooting experience. Control the pan 360° tilt, 207° tilt, and 70° roll rotation using the built-in controls. Balance indicator lights on each motor help achieve accurate calibration. Dual-layer quick-release plates make it easy to shoot landscape and portrait with ease. Easily control your settings with the 1.22" color touchscreen and Bluetooth-powered wireless shutter. The CRANE 4 also features an integrated fill light with a 3200 lux output and adjustable color temperature.

Lightweight design, extended arm length
With the redesign of the CRANE 4 comes an extended arm length and stronger motors that expand gimbal and lens compatibility for DSLR, mirrorless, and compact cinema cameras with full-frame lenses attached.
The gimbal weighs only 3.6 lb but has a load capacity of 13.2 lb capable of supporting cameras such as the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro, Nikon Z8, Panasonic LUMIX S1H and Sony a7S III, all with attached full-frame lenses.

Sling Grip, upgraded wrist rest
1/4"-20 mounting threads with rosettes on either side of the gimbal base allow you to attach the included slide handle. Twist and adjust to hold the CRANE 4 in sling mode or two-handed mode.
Attach the wrist rest to the unused rosette and place it in the most ergonomic position to reduce wrist strain.

Bluetooth 5.0 Shutter Control
While the included camera control cables give you the option of wired shutter control, avoid complicated cables by using the built-in Bluetooth 5.0 shutter control. Wirelessly control the shutter of your compatible camera and switch recording via the built-in controls and touchscreen. For a complete list of Bluetooth-compatible cameras, please refer to the most current compatibility information on the Zhiyun website page or refer to the camera compatibility list in PDF format.

Dual-layer quick release, lens mount

Mount the camera of your choice to the camera's quick-release plate or top quick-release plate for efficient integration and balance with the dual-layer plates on the CRANE 4. The bottom quick-release plate slides onto the horizontal orientation base plate and provides a mounting point for the included lens mount when using heavier full-frame lenses. The top quick-release slides easily onto the portrait orientation base plate.

Powerful and bright fill light
A built-in 10W fill light easily illuminates objects thanks to its 3200 lux brightness. An included fill light diffuser can soften the light effect as needed.
The light has a CRI of 95+ for accurate and natural color reproduction.
Adjust the color temperature of the light from 2700 to 5500K with the built-in control wheel.

1.22" color touchscreen, built-in controls
Switch between gimbal modes such as Pan Follow Mode, Lock Mode, POV Mode, Follow Mode, Go Mode, Vortex Mode, and Portrait Mode.
Other photography features include Panorama, Timelapse, and Motionlapse.
Check and view the balancing status of each axis in real time.
Perform automatic calibration after your equipment is fully balanced.
Set the motor torque, smoothness, follow-up speed, and gimbal joystick speed.
Customize the function of the fire button and front dial to switch settings or modes of your choice.

ZY Play App
Control your gimbal remotely from your iOS or Android device using the ZY Play App. Features of the app include virtual joystick control, photo and video control, motion sensor control, time-lapse, panorama, and firmware update. The gimbal's built-in Bluetooth technology makes it easy to connect the app.

Follow Focus and Video Transmitter Integration
Attach additional professional-grade tools to the CRANE 4 to communicate with others on set. Two USB-C ports on the front of the camera mounting area can connect focus motors for remote control of the camera. Another USB-C port on the back of the camera accepts the included camera control cables or connects to the separately available TransMount Image Transmission system. The transmitter unit can be mounted on the bottom of the gimbal baseplate to communicate with the corresponding display monitor.

All-day production
Four built-in 18650 batteries with a total capacity of 2600mAh offer a 12-hour runtime for shooting events all day long. The USB-C charging port supports PD fast charging to get you back up and running in less than two hours. You can charge the gimbal while it's in use to continue capturing the action.
