The Half Cage SmallRig for Sony FX2 5591 is designed for seamless accessory expansion and quick workflow transitions. An Arca-Swiss quick-release plate on the base allows for quick transitions between handheld camera, tripod, and gimbal configurations (compatible with DJI RS 2/RSC 2/RS 3/RS 3 Pro/RS 4/RS 4 Pro stabilizers).
The removable top plate features a NATO rail, accommodating Sony's XLR top handle or SmallRig's swivel top handle without interfering with the viewfinder (VEF). With precise cutouts, this cage ensures that the VEF, buttons and tilting doors of the camera remain fully accessible.
Incorporating multiple mounting points, including 1/4"-20 threaded holes, 3/8"-16 ARRI positioning holes, and a NATO "HawkLock" rail, it allows for quick attachment of accessories such as side handles and top handles. A cold shoe mount allows for the attachment of devices such as the DJI Mic 2 or LED lights, while a QD socket on the base accommodates shoulder straps for added portability.
The bottom quick-release plate, combined with the "HawkLock" H38 Arca-Swiss quick-release mounting plate, facilitates quick sliding fastening with an automatic locking mechanism. In addition, the base is equipped with a magnetic Allen key for quick assembly and disassembly.
