QUADRALITE Navigator X Plus Transmitter for Sony
The Navigator X Plus combines almost all the features of the previously released Navigator X2 with a small, compact body of the first-generation Navigator X transmitters.
However, there are some important updates.
The first and most significant is the built-in Bluetooth used to connect with the Quadralite Photo app, allowing for comfortable adjustment of flash power and light shaping directly on your smartphone screen (Android and iOS devices are supported).
Another novelty compared to its predecessor is the presence of five buttons in the upper left part of the box, which give direct access to the control of five groups of flashes.
The flash output adjustment scale has also changed. It's much more accurate, and you can now adjust the flash power in 0.1 f-stop increments.
The device's menu hides another new feature: the scan function.
You can use it to search for communication channels without radio interference, which can influence the connection between the lights and the transmitter itself.
The control button and all important buttons are located on the left side of the box.
The top of the case has an additional hot shoe that can be used to attach an additional radio trigger to the top of the Navigator X Plus.
The front panel has a red beam used to assist the camera's autofocus.
This feature is especially useful in low-light scenarios, both on location and in studios.
The transmitter can be easily connected to the camera thanks to the integrated quick-action hot shoe clamp.
There is also a sync port with 3.5mm jack and a USB-C jack.
The device is powered by two AA batteries.
