CARUBA Universal Petal Sunshade 67mm
Sun visor with 67mm thread.
Protects the front element of the lens from unwanted light to prevent reflections, as well as providing physical protection against impacts.
Although the lens is round, the image is rectangular, so the coverage required around the lens is not constant.
Petal sunshades are more advanced on the sides and top, to protect better, but are then set back to prevent vignetting.
The most recommended are the petals, however they cannot be used on some lenses whose front element rotates.
