Useful both indoors and outdoors, the lens hood of the LH878-03 lens hood will protect your front lens from impact and, above all, prevent the undesirable effects of stray light on your photos.
Despite the Super Multi Layer coating applied to SIGMA lenses, incident light rays can cause a decrease in image contrast or, in the most extreme cases, generate halos in your photos.
To ensure maximum contrast in your images, it is advisable to leave a lens hood permanently attached to your lens.
