Y1 and Y2 filters are used to achieve the proper contrast in your photos. The filter factor is quite low, and the filter is effective for portraits, landscapes, and snapshots. In portraits, the use of these filters lightens the subject's face. In short, distant photos, the blue of the sky is darkened, emphasizing the effects of clouds. For snapshots, these filters enhance contrast and produce a sharper image.
UV, Y1 and Y2 are multi-purpose filters. The Y2 filter will produce a more intense effect than the Y1.
