The Godox AD-AB  is required to screw the speedring BOWENS MOUNT ADAPTER RING directly onto the Godox AD300 Pro flash head.  

The adapter ring is easy to install and is required to connect optionally available Bowens, Elinchrom or Profoto adapter rings to the flash head. 

The adapters are the same as those used in the AD400 Pro.
