Get creative with versatile rigid reflectors
The name "rigid reflectors" reveals two important characteristics of these light-shaping tools. As the name suggests, the reflectors themselves are rigid – coated in high-quality metal and extremely durable. Secondly, they tend to create a harsher light with a sharper drop than, for example, a softbox or an umbrella.
They creatively help you change the contrast and mood of your images, creating a variety of lighting effects, from direct, focused light with a distinct fall to wider, more uniform light spread across the image area. Their versatility makes them an essential light modifier.

All Hard Reflectors feature Profoto's unique zoom function, which means you can shape or "zoom" the light by simply sliding its rigid reflector back and forth on your head, so you can easily create a variety of light effects without changing the reflector or the position of the light.
On each reflector there is a visual indication of the light scattered in different numbered positions. The numbers correspond to a scale of white numbers on the side of most Profoto lights and can be used as guidance and an aid to remembering your favorite zoom position for each reflector.
Want a still wide light with good leakage?
The WideZoom Reflector offers a wide and surprisingly uniform light diffusion, which is why it is often used for backlighting. The versatile Zoom Reflector is also a great choice for achieving similar results. If you use Profoto flat front lights, the small and portable OCF Zoom is an ideal option.
