With a compact, lightweight design and high maximum output, the Nitecore LR10 Rechargeable Olive Base Pocket Torch is the ideal companion for backpacking camping or preparing for storms.
The flashlight is equipped with nine high color rendering index (CRI) LEDs that produce their light at a color temperature of 4500K, which closely resembles natural morning sunlight to reduce eye fatigue and cast a pleasant light tone. In addition to the low, medium, and high outputs, the light has three special modes to accommodate a variety of situations, as well as a low-output red LED that flashes in standby mode to make it easier to find the light in the dark. The flashlight is powered by a factory-installed rechargeable lithium-ion (lithium-ion) battery that charges via the included Micro-USB cable. All outputs and modes are easily accessible with the push of a single button, so that use is easy and intuitive.
Complementing the light's performance is a lightweight, durable polycarbonate housing and translucent diffuser that evenly distributes light to produce consistent brightness across the entire surface. The flashlight is rated IP66 to be dustproof and water-resistant against water and rain to withstand weathering; and impact resistant up to almost 5 feet. A foldable hook allows the light to be hung inside a tent or on a branch, and an integrated magnetic base provides an easy way to accurately place the light on a variety of surfaces.
