Olympus is pleased to introduce the world's first macro flash with a dust, splash, and low-temperature (-10 °C) resistant construction in a lightweight and compact design, making it ideal for any type of environment, whether in the rainforest or desert.
The STF-8 supports flash photography when combined with cameras that include Bracketing and Focus Scaling modes.
This feature is very useful for photographing flowers, insects and for commercial studio shots.
The integrated adapter ring is compatible with the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 30 mm 1:3.5 Macro, M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 60 mm 1:2.8 Macro and M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 12–40 mm 1:2.8 PRO.
This compact macro flash offers versatile and creative lighting options, controlling the output of each head, single or dual.
When using both dual flash heads, the NG is 8.5; when using only a single head, the NG is 6.
In addition to the TTL auto-sync mode for precision control, you can adjust the flash in 1/3 increments on the camera when in manual mode and in 1-step increments with the flash indicator.
The main flash can also be used to control multiple flash units.
