With long reach and a suite of advanced features and optical design, OM SYSTEM's M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm f/2.8 PRO lens is a versatile telephoto zoom, equivalent to 80-300mm, for Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras. As part of the PRO series of advanced lenses, this zoom distinguishes itself with a constant and bright maximum aperture of f/2.8 for consistent illumination throughout the zoom range to suit working in a variety of lighting conditions. The optical design utilizes a series of aspherical, low-dispersion glass elements to suppress chromatic and spherical aberrations, providing remarkable sharpness and clarity, and a ZERO lens coating reduces flare and ghosting for high-contrast, color-accurate images.
Complementing the optics, a dual VCM autofocus system delivers fast, near-silent focusing performance to meet stills and movie shooting applications. A manual focus clutch allows you to quickly switch between AF and MF, and a programmable L-Fn button gives you lens-based control over shooting settings. The lens is also weather-sealed for working in tough conditions, and a tripod swivel collar is included to improve balance and support when working on top of a tripod or monopod.

Dual VCM

The separation of the focusing mechanism into two groups of lenses controlled by individual linear drive motors makes AF performance extremely fast and, with no gears involved, almost frictionless and incredibly quiet.

Or instantly switch between autofocus and manual focus with the Manual focus clutch mechanism.
Zoom in
A 1.4x teleconverter is available for the 40-150mm F2.8 PRO that extends its focal length to an impressive 210mm (35mm equivalent to 420mm) for those shots really from a distance. You can also attach a protective ZUIKO filter that features Olympus' renowned ZERO Coated coating technology.

The lens hood is specially designed to work on the lens barrel for easy storage. When extended, the locking mechanism will fully support the weight of the lens and camera body. And to keep your investment safe, the included lens case will help protect the lens from scratches and drops.
