The Viltrox AF 40mm f/2.5 is a wide-angle prime designed for Nikon Z mirrorless cameras. The focal length of the lens combines with the bright f/2.5 design to suit working in a variety of lighting conditions and also to control the depth of field and isolate the subject.
The optical design comprises an extra-low dispersion element and three elements with a high refractive index, as well as a spherical element, which help reduce chromatic aberrations to achieve high clarity and accurate colours.
