Because conventional anamorphic lenses do not have autofocus, it was often difficult to capture images quickly while shooting.
Additionally, photographers often have to crop the image to achieve a widescreen format, which often leads to a significant loss of content.
The 40mm lens is designed for both video and photo recording, and it has both manual and autofocus functions, as well as the ability to switch between staggered and continuous aperture settings.

The large aperture allows more light to reach the sensor in low-light conditions, allowing for reduced illumination and clearer night scenes.
Even in low light, you get excellent images with sharp subjects, shallow depth of field, and smooth, natural bokeh.

OUTSTANDING BOKEH
The 40mm lens produces a characteristic hexagonal and elliptical bokeh when the aperture is wide open, thanks to its unique optical design and aperture blade structure.
When the lens is downscaled to T2.4, bokeh transitions to the signature elliptical shape of 1.33x, offering the classic anamorphic aesthetic.
This flexibility allows you to achieve different bokeh styles depending on your creative needs.
