SAMYANG AF 85mm f/1.4 Nikon F
The SAMYANG AF 85mm f/1.4 Nikon F is a large-aperture telephoto lens designed specifically for Nikon F-mount cameras, ideal for portraiture and low-light photography. Its classic focal length and bright f/1.4 maximum aperture provide excellent control over depth of field, enabling selective focus effects with softly blurred backgrounds.
Optically, it incorporates a hybrid aspherical element that helps to minimise distortions and spherical aberrations, ensuring sharp and well-defined images throughout the aperture. In addition, the lens elements benefit from an Ultra Multi-Coating, which reduces flare and ghosting, improving contrast and color fidelity in different lighting conditions.
To ensure fast and quiet focusing performance, the lens is equipped with an Ultrasonic Dual Linear motor, ideal for both stills and video. The internal focusing system keeps the length of the lens constant and prevents movement of the front end, which makes it easier to use with filters.
The rounded nine-blade diaphragm contributes to smooth, aesthetically pleasing bokeh, making portraits even more immersive. It also includes a lens hood to reduce the entry of side light and minimize unwanted reflections.
