This Panasonic lens is an extremely compact pancake-style prime lens for the Micro 4/3 system. It is compatible with LUMIX G digital cameras. The lens has a focal length of 40mm equivalent to 35mm and a fast maximum aperture of f/1.7 that offers optimal low-light performance. The rounded 7-blade aperture produces a pleasing bokeh effect in the out-of-focus regions of the image.
The spherical element minimizes distortion and chromatic aberration. The lens supports the Contrast AF system for high-precision autofocus. Multi-coated elements minimize flare and ghosting to improve image quality, and the minimum focusing distance is 7.87". The f/1.8 and 20mm II has a durable metal body and mount, as well as a filter diameter of 46mm.
