This dynamically wide 7.5mm f/2.0 fisheye lens from TTArtisan fills the image area of an ASP-C image sensor from corner to corner. When used on a camera with a full-frame image sensor, the circular fisheye image is heavily vignetted at all four corners.
The included front cover has a unique design that crops a little further into the image area to create a fully circular image with a cleaner perimeter. The lens design renders a 180° angle of view to produce a distinctive visual appeal characterized by dramatic distortion and a creative representation of space, which helps to make wide and innovative shots of landscapes and interiors.
The characteristic fisheye distortion and close focus distance of 12.5cm also lend itself to surreal, exaggerated portraits and close-up photography.
