CARUBA Extension Tubes for Fujifilm (Type II)
Caruba extension tubes consist of two intermediate rings for mounting on Fujifilm X.
The rings can be used separately, but they can also be combined.
The intermediate rings do not have any optical elements, and therefore it is possible to show the larger and closer subjects, without negatively influencing the image quality.
Options such as autofocus and TTL light metering continue to work.
However, it is advisable to focus manually, because the sharpness is very close.
If you place an extension tube, or so-called middle ring, between the lens and the camera body, the minimum focusing distance will be shorter.
The longer the focal length of the intermediate ring, the closer it can get.
This is perfect for macro photography or for taking special close-ups.
