CARUBA Automatic Extension Tubes for 4/3
The Caruba Extension Tube Set for the 4/3 consists of three intermediate rings that can be used separately but can also be combined.
The intermediate rings do not have any optical elements, which makes it possible to show larger and closer objects, without changing the image quality.
Options like autofocus and TTL light metering continue to work.
However, it is advisable to focus manually, because the sharpness is very close.
Each lens has a minimum focusing distance. If you place an extension tube, or so-called middle ring, between the lens and the camera body, the minimum focusing distance will be shorter. The longer the focal length of the intermediate ring, the closer it can get.
This is perfect for macro photography or for taking special close-ups.
