These lenses come in 6 different versions: Sony E with or without drop-in filter mount; Canon RF and L-Mount, both with drop-in filter mount; PL-Mount with rear filter mount; and finally Fujifilm G, without mounting for rear filter or drop-in. Lenses with special filter mounts allow filmmakers to easily add ND, polarizer, or other filters to achieve the desired look without having to attach filters to the front of the lens. This feature also makes it easy to change filters quickly and efficiently, saving time and reducing the risk of damaging the lens.
