CINE VERSION! The Laowa 12mm T2.9 Zero-D CINE in RF mount from Canon is the Laowa 12mm Zero-D Lens - Cinema version with integrated follow focus gear. Wide angle option ideal for professional cinema and mirrorless cameras.
With Full Frame coverage, which covers up to Vista Vision (Vista Vision is slightly larger than full frame), like the Red Monster 8k camera. With features like the non-cinematic version, close to zero distortion, 122 degrees FoV and it's super compact (87mm) and lightweight (635g) makes this a great lens for professional use, including movies, TV, documentary, commercials, music videos.
One of the biggest strengths of this lens is its super-close focusing capability - it can focus from 18cm from the sensor, about 10cm from the front-to-subject element, making it extremely adaptable for creative cinematography.
Perfect Ultra wide angle for large format cameras, the Laowa 12mm t / 2.9 has no direct competitors with this lens, being so compact, light, fast and with close to ZERO distortion. Also great for the Professional Cine market, Super 35 sensor (smaller, similar size to APS-C), the ultra wide angle still gives a very wide view, with all the other benefits of the lens, and being Full Frame ready.

Most Ultra Wide Angle lenses suffer from an optical distortion rate of 2 to 5%, which causes straight lines to bend. Extremely well-corrected LAOWA Zero-D lenses, they achieve a near zero distortion rate which is truly amazing for an ultra wide angle lens. Distortion rate is measured by shooting objects with infinite focus. Distortion rate can vary for cameras shorter for object distances.
