IRIX 45mm f/1.4 for Nikon F
The Irix 45mm f/1.4 lens is a fast f/1.4 lens with a classic 50-degree field of view, created for your Full Frame (35mm) camera.
The combination of fast aperture and a classic focal length makes this lens extremely practical.
You can use it either for portrait shots (where you can efficiently blur the background), or during a trip where you can capture incredible landscapes, creating razor-sharp images.

The Irix 45mm f/1.4 lens is designed to provide a detailed image of just f/1.4, being even sharper at higher f-stop values.
Thanks to the 9 rounded aperture blades, areas outside the depth of field remain smooth, with beautiful bokeh.
High-quality lenses must be ready to work in all conditions. Therefore, the design of the Irix 45mm f/1.4 does not compromise - our premium class lenses use only the finest materials in their construction. Guaranteed operation in all conditions is provided by a sealing system located in key areas of the lens. Equally important, the lens does not change its dimensions during focus pull, eliminating the risk of dirt particles being dragged into the internal structure. These properties not only allow you to work in demanding conditions, but also ensure the cleanliness of the camera's mirror camera sensor.
The Irix 45mm f/1.4 lens has a module that allows you to control the iris of the lens directly from the camera, thanks to which the popular semi-automatic modes (PASM) and data recording are available in EXIF format.
The use of electronics also allows the lens to be equipped with a focus confirmation system – the camera will announce the correct focus setting (in the form of an icon in the viewfinder or as a sound) every time you set the focus correctly – it's easy and convenient!
Focus lock allows you to lock the focus ring at a specific position. This is especially useful when we want to maintain a specific distance from the subject (focus on the zone) or when we want to maintain perfect focus at infinity during landscape photography.
Focus Ring – We know how much we liked the focus ring on the Irix 150mm f/2.8 Macro 1:1, so we decided to use a similar one on our 45mm f/1.4 lens. After many tests, we developed a ring material characterized by its high mechanical strength and resistance to harsh conditions. The special texturing allows for reliable and accurate focusing, and the dedicated embossed dimples allow you to feel the position of the ring even without looking for it, making focusing even easier.
