VILTROX ADAPTER EF-FX2 PRO SPEED BOOSTER 0.71x
This Viltrox Lens Mount Adapter allows a Canon EF Full Frame lens to be mounted on a FUJIFILM X-mount camera.
In doing so, the adapter's optics help maximize the apparent angle of view of the attached lens, while providing a unique boost to the camera in the lens's aperture range.
If a lens intended for 35mm film or similarly sized full-frame camera sensors is attached to a FUJIFILM X-mount camera, it will project a larger image than the camera's APS-C size sensor is built to accept.
Capable of capturing only the central part of the projected image, the effective angle of view of the lens would be reduced, creating a "crop factor" in the camera. This adapter condenses light from a lens designed for 35mm film or full-frame camera sensors and projects it onto an APS-C sensor on the FUJIFILM X-mount camera.
This allows the APS-C sensor to utilize more of the light collected by an attached lens, which effectively reduces the crop factor, while also providing the sensor with an additional stop of light for each of the lens's f/stop settings.
If a compatible lens includes autofocus as well as camera-controlled aperture functions, this adapter is intended to allow those features to be used.
In addition, if an attached lens is capable of generating Exif metadata when used with a directly compatible camera, this adapter is designed to allow this information to be saved along with image files generated with a combination of the lens, a compatible FUJIFILM X-mount camera, and the adapter.
This adapter is built with four lens elements in four groups that are designed to provide optical clarity as well as color fidelity, and the bottom of its detachable tripod foot is threaded with a 1/4"-20 accessory thread, allowing direct connection to tripods or quick-release plates that feature 1/4"-20 mounts.
To make it easier to update your firmware, this adapter also includes a micro-USB port.
