The Nano IR Graduated Neutral Density Filter with an average transition of 75×80mm – ND4 (0.6) – 2 stops – is a rectangular filter that helps darken specific areas of an image, such as clear skies, allowing normal exposure in other areas of the image.
The filter is darker at the top and gradually gets lighter in the middle, with a smooth transition line between the light and dark areas.
A neutral density filter with a smooth transition line is particularly useful for images that feature trees, buildings, mountains, and other objects projected on the horizon.
NiSi GND filters do not affect image hues, offer true colors, and are made of high-quality optical glass (not resin) with Nano coating to prevent loss of detail.
By using a neutral density filter, the camera is vulnerable to infrared light, creating an unwanted red tint when taking photos with a small aperture.
NiSi GND filters have a protective infrared coating layer to eliminate infrared light that is projected through the lens.
This 75x80mm filter is compatible with the 75mm NiSi filter system.
