The NiSi filter 150x150mm Neutral Density MC IR ND8 (0.9) – 3 Stops is a neutral density (ND) filter that uniformly reduces the amount of light entering the lens.
ND filters can allow for greater motion blur and image detail, allowing for a large aperture and slow shutter speed.
ND filters are also useful when the contrast between the highlights and shadows is too high to achieve a quality display.
The ND8 3 Stop is commonly used for waterfalls and capturing water flow at shutter speeds from 0.5 seconds to 2 seconds.
NiSi ND filters have lacked the image cores, offer realistic cores, and are made of high-quality optical glass (not resin) with nano coating to prevent the loss of any detail.
By using the neutral density filter, a camera is vulnerable to infrared light, which will cast unwanted red color in photos to photographers with a small aperture.

Construction
